EDventure International aims to inspire individuals by teaching them leadership skills which are developed and enhanced through direct engagement with volunteer projects overseas.
There are three main intertwining aspects of our program:
The leadership and personal development course, direct engagement in an empowering volunteer project and various culturally significant and challenging adventure activities. These three elements fused into one dynamic program are what create your EDventure experience. EDventure International programs aim to cultivate and amplify your inner strengths and the leadership skills within each volunteer, as well as provide skills that benefit the global communities with whom you are working.
The leadership course is designed so that you will be able to apply what you’ve learned about being a global leader not only directly to your volunteer efforts but also to the a professional realm back home in the job market. This way, you create more than memories and friendships from your overseas volunteer activities; you will have gained an invaluable hands-on experience in leadership within a community that will genuinely benefit you for years to come.
Through volunteer work, your efforts will focus on assisting in various ways in schools, orphanages, and animal sanctuaries. Each day, you will identify, improve, and utilise your own leadership skills in a way that enables your actions to be more powerful effective and meaningful. In addition, you will also sharpen your awareness of leadership skills demonstrated in and around your projects, such as your connections with local businesses and organisations that have taken on leadership roles within the local community
As part of the EDventure experience, you can participate in local trips including water sports, zip-lining, hiking, biking, rafting, abseiling, cultural cooking, and exploring. The key component here is for you, as a future global leader, to step outside your comfort zone. Push the boundary. Overcome the physical and mental challenges you will no doubt face during your EDventure experience, and empower yourself as a global leader.
